The answer to the question of whether or not God hears the prayers of unbelievers is difficult to answer. On one hand, the Bible clearly states that God is “not willing that any should perish” (2 Peter 3:9) and that He loves everyone (John 3:16). This would indicate that God is listening to the prayers of all people, including unbelievers. On the other hand, the Bible also says that “no one can come to him unless the Father draws him” (John 6:44). This seems to suggest that God does not hear the prayers of those who have not yet been drawn to Him.
Ultimately, it is impossible for us to know with certainty whether or not God hears the prayers of unbelievers. We can trust in God’s goodness and mercy, however, and seek to be closer to Him through prayer and studying His Word. This is how we can ultimately come to know more about God and His will.
