    Forum Description

Trusting in God is one of the most important and powerful concepts found in Christianity. To trust in God means to submit all of our worries, anxieties and problems to Him (Psalm 55:22). We must have faith that He is all-knowing, all-powerful and fully capable of providing everything we need (Hebrews 11:1-6). In essence, it requires that we put complete confidence and reliance on God, instead of relying on our own abilities or resources (Proverbs 3:5-6).

When we trust in God, we trust that He is with us even during our hardest times and in our darkest moments (Psalm 23:4). Trusting in God is a way of understanding that no matter what comes our way, He has a plan and a purpose for it (Romans 8:28). He is our protector, our provider and our comforter (Isaiah 41:10). He promises to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).

Trust in God also involves obedience. We must strive to obey the Lord and His Word (John 14:15). This means following the Ten Commandments, the teachings of Jesus, and other Christian doctrines (Matthew 5:17-19). When we obey the Lord, we become vessels of His power and guidance (2 Corinthians 6:14). We open ourselves up to be led by His Spirit and to experience His grace and mercy (Ephesians 2:8).

In summary, trusting in God means having faith that He is in control (Isaiah 46:9-11), obediently following His will (John 15:7-8), relying on Him in times of adversity (Psalm 94:19) and worshiping Him even through our difficulties (Psalm 35:13). Through trusting in Him, we can face anything that life throws our way (Joshua 1:9).
