What Would be the Impact to Your Life if you Marry a Believer vs. Non-Believer?

Marriage is an incredibly important part of life and choosing the right partner is a crucial decision. In 1 Corinthians 7:39, it states that “A wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, but he must belong to the Lord.” This Scripture is clear – if you choose to marry a non-belief, your life will be impacted by not having the same spiritual foundation as your partner. Uniting with a believer allows for shared faith, shared worship and moments that are mutually aimed at glorifying God. When married to someone who shares your faith, there is a strong bond of unity and a common understanding that the relationship is ordained by God. There is no greater blessing than to live in harmony and unity with someone who shares your faith, and that can only happen when both partners have a personal relationship with Christ.
